World Series Game 1 Victory for Edmondson and St. Louis
The St. Louis Archies started the World Series in style, downing the visiting Brooklyn Knights at Team2 Ballpark by a score of 5-3 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Archies right-hander Nate Edmondson threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball.

Alex Garcia, who finished 3rd in the FL in OPS with .908 in 2050, chipped in a solo home run for St. Louis in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said St. Louis manager Terry Schneekloth.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Team2 Ballpark in San Diego.
