Blueberry Bulldogs Come Up Short at East Haddam, 5-4
The East Haddam Hyenas withstood an impressive performance by Sudbury second baseman Joe Seelye to defeat the Blueberry Bulldogs, 5-4, at Ballpark of East Haddam. Seelye was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. After losing, Sudbury is 5-3.

The Hyenas got a big at-bat from right fielder Matt McCauley. For the game, McCauley was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave East Haddam a 3-1 lead.
