Laines Helps Dragon Warriors Run Win Streak to 5
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Brooklyn Knights, 9-4. Left Fielder Danny Laines deserved a large share of the credit. Laines was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Dragon Warriors. The win was credited to Dan Bass in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Alex Smith took the loss. The loss drops the Knights to 1-8.

Scott Jennings had a big 2-run home run for the Dragon Warriors in the top of the second inning. With Hanoi leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from Alex Smith, the 13th overall pick in the 2045 draft, and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Dragon Warriors on top, 3-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Hanoi manager GM Patman.
