Vladsislas Wanzha powered the East Haddam Hyenas to a win over the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs. The final score was 13-4. The East Haddam first baseman, who is tied for 5th in the FL in home runs with 19, was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 2 doubles. The win gives the Hyenas a record of 26-54.

With East Haddam leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Wanzha hit a fastball from George Wilson for a run-scoring double. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Hyenas ahead, 2-0.

"We maximized our offense today," said East Haddam skipper Joe Jankowski. "That makes everyone's life easier."
