Losing Trend Continues for Los Angeles
|
The Yellowstone Super Volcano spoiled a good performance by Los Angeles center fielder Rowan Cooper, bumping off Los Angeles, 6-3, at Sportsman's Park. Cooper was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Justin Kowalick was the winner. He's now 7-4. The loser was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Elliott. The slumping Kings have dropped 7 in a row.
With Yellowstone leading 4-3 in the top of the eighth, Ricardo Bermudez hit a 2-run single off Los Angeles pitcher Jeremy Valentine. It put the Super Volcano ahead 6-3.
Yellowstone manager GM AtticaOnline called it "a good, solid win."
