Osaka Takoyaki pitcher Jeremy Myers was in fine form, leading his team past the Arizona Desert Storm, 4-1. Myers got the win, improving to 6-5. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. Matt Schille earned his 5th save in 6 chances.
Osaka used a clutch hit from Chris Ferraro to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Takoyaki ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
"Jeremy was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Osaka manager GM KDR.
The 'W' lifts Osaka's record to 35-45.
