Wayfinders Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
The Waikiki Wayfinders weathered a fine game by East Haddam right fielder Dave Bland to upend the Hyenas, 10-8, at Ballpark of Honolulu. Bland was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win puts Waikiki at 31-47.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Waikiki. That's when Setsujiro Takahashi, who led the AL in hits with 234 in 2043, hit a grand slam home run off John Motz to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Takahashi said.
