Bobby Poteet was in a mood to talk following the Mexico City Mole contest against the Reno Rattlers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Rattlers, 5-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Poteet said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Reno on a 5-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 10 strikeouts.

For the season, Poteet has a record of 14 wins and 11 losses in 26 appearances. He has an ERA of 3.21 and has fanned 207 batters in 202 innings.
