Super Volcano Squelch Kings Offense in Shutout Win
Yellowstone starter John Potter kept the Los Angeles offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his splitter in leading the Super Volcano to a 6-0 win. Potter picked up the win for Yellowstone, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 6-4. Yellowstone goes to 37-40, Los Angeles to 37-39.

Josh Gingerich had a big solo home run for the Super Volcano in the top of the fifth inning. With Yellowstone leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Steve Wilkerson and swatted a home run to right. It was his 7th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Super Volcano ahead, 2-0.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Potter.
