The Beavers grabbed a win, 2-1, at Beavers Park, overcoming a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher Danny Staley. Staley went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Portland got a knockout punch from Ethan Breaux. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
