Hartman K's 11 En Route to 3-1 Cossacks Win
|
Eric Hartman, who finished 4th in the AL in wins with 15 in 2038, was brilliant in helping Kyiv beat the Saskatchewan 92's, 3-1. The first-place Cossacks have won 4 straight games.
Hartman, who dominated for Kyiv, earned the victory to move to 5-7. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 8 innings, while striking out 11. Saskatchewan batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Eric can pitch. He moves the ball around," said Kyiv manager Boris Lahutin.
