Osaka Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in DS
The Osaka Takoyaki moved to within one game of the League Championship, downing the visiting St. Louis Archies at Takoyaki Park by a score of 3-1. Takoyaki right-hander Billy Roland had a strong outing in which he threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Takoyaki a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.

Roland allowed no runs over 8 innings. He also racked up 10 strikeouts.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Roland.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Takoyaki Park in Osaka.
