Sims Helps St. Louis Take Divisional Series Game 1
The St. Louis Archies started the Divisional Series in style, downing the visiting Osaka Takoyaki at Team2 Ballpark by a score of 10-7 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Archies left fielder Dan Sims was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2.

Immokalee, Florida native Dan Sims had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for the Archies. With St. Louis trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run double.

"They say the first rule of the playoffs is to win the home games," Sims said afterward. "It feels nice, but it is kind of what we were supposed to do."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Team2 Ballpark in San Diego.
