Almost There: Sudbury On Cusp of LC Triumph After 8-3 Win
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs moved to within one game of the World Series, downing the Saskatchewan 92's on the road at Stadium 92 by a score of 8-3. Blueberry Bulldogs right-hander Danny Dudley had a strong outing. He threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Blueberry Bulldogs a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship.

Joe Seelye, who finished 3rd in the FL in stolen bases with 44 in 2047, helped out the Sudbury cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a double.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Saskatchewan manager Salvador Rubio.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Stadium 92 in Regina.
