92's Hammered by Cruz, Drop Game 2 to Blueberry Bulldogs
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs defeated the Saskatchewan 92's, 6-3, in Game 2 of the League Championship. Making an impact was catcher Omar Cruz, who went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win moves Sudbury into a 1-1 tie with Saskatchewan in the series.

In the bottom of the fifth, Sudbury center fielder Jacob Jeffries had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Jeffries stroked a bases-clearing double to left-center. It made the score 6-3, Sudbury. For the game, he was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.

"Every team in baseball loses," 92's manager Salvador Rubio said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 27th , 2047 at Stadium 92 in Regina.
