Game 5 was big. So was Nick Rennie.

In leading Hanoi to a crucial 3-2 victory over the Portland Beavers at The Nest, the Hanoi starter rose to the occasion, tossing 5 good innings. Rennie threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs as the Dragon Warriors defended their home field to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 League Championship.

Jonathan Campos dealt the Beavers a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with a runner on 1st and Hanoi leading 2-1, Campos hit a 1-1 sinker for a run-scoring double.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Campos.

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, October 20th , 2049 at Beavers Park in Pittsburgh.
