Porters Clip Desert Storm, 3-2, in DS Contest
The Dublin Porters moved to within one game of the League Championship, downing the visiting Arizona Desert Storm at Porters Ballpark by a score of 3-2. Porters right-hander Greg Sebera had a strong outing in which he threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Porters a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Porters had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when third baseman Jeremy Copeland hit a solo home run. The home run came off Josh Kern and made the score 3-2, Porters. Copeland was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Copeland.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Porters Ballpark in Dublin.
