The Kyiv Cossacks and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs will take the Divisional Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Cossacks beat the Blueberry Bulldogs, 6-2, at Bulldogs Ballpark to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Kyiv right-hander Tom Call had a big role in the win. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 1 run.

With one out in the top of the third, William Melnick barreled up a curveball from Siu-chung Chieu. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Cossacks in front, 4-0.

Kyiv manager Boris Lahutin praised his team's "energy."

Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday at Kyiv Grounds.
