Blueberry Bulldogs Beat Archies, 13-2, to Start DS
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs started the Divisional Series in dominant fashion, blowing out the host St. Louis Archies at Team2 Ballpark by a score of 13-2 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Blueberry Bulldogs right-hander Josh Deere turned in a fine performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice.

In the top of the first, Deere pounced on a 0-2 screwball from Spencer Hay and hit a 3-run home run. It put Sudbury on top, 3-0.

"Josh gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Sudbury skipper Coach John.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Team2 Ballpark in San Diego.
