Kanzaki Homers Twice in 19-9 Knights Win
Due in large part to left fielder Kenichi Kanzaki, the Brooklyn Knights sunk the St. Louis Archies, 19-9. Kanzaki hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was 29-year old left-handed pitcher Manny Aguayo. He tossed 68 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 6 runs on 6 hits. With the win over St. Louis, the Knights improved to 41-34.

Kanzaki contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Brooklyn in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 4-2, Kanzaki took a changeup from Nate Edmondson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 19th home run of the season allowed the Knights to leap in front, 5-4.

"We maximized our offense today," said Brooklyn skipper Enoch Tang. "That makes everyone's life easier."
