Divisional Series Game 1 Goes to Portland, Thanks to Breaux
The Portland Beavers powered past the visiting Havana Sugar Kings, 3-2, in the opener of the Divisional Series at Beavers Park. Portland right fielder Ethan Breaux was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, to lead the charge. The Beavers now lead the series 1-0.

There was more than one reason the Beavers beat the Sugar Kings, but Breaux's big at-bat in the bottom of the first was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.

Portland manager GM admiralballtr8s called it "a good, solid win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Beavers Park in Pittsburgh.
