Raucous The Nest Crowd Propels Dragon Warriors to 1-0 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors and the Detroit Pizzas will take the Divisional Series to a decisive 5th game. Facing a must-win situation, the Dragon Warriors shut out the Pizzas, 1-0, at The Nest to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Hanoi right-hander Aaron Wierzba did his part. He threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball.

Wierzba was in the zone, shutting down Detroit hitters over 7.2 innings. Wierzba, who threw 105 pitches, allowed no runs on 3 hits. He also tallied 8 punchouts.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Wierzba.

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 11th , 2049 at Pizzas Ballpark in Detroit.
