Schenectady Triumphs in Round 3
It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Schenectady Grasshoppers, that meant the CBD Single A Round 3 trophy.

The Grasshoppers took a 5-4 victory over the Albany Polecats at Ballpark of Schenectady, winning their 6th championship after taking the series 4-3.

"We've got grit," said Grasshoppers shortstop Jesus Gonzalez, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."

The new titleholders completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the Division 1 and a 97-43 record.
