Archies Rally Late to Clip Osaka
The St. Louis Archies weathered a fine game by Osaka first baseman Juan Redondo to upend the Takoyaki, 6-5, at Team2 Ballpark. Redondo went 5-5 with a double and 4 singles, while scoring 2 times. The win went to Jesus Gutierrez in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Jeremy Myers took the loss. St. Louis is first in the Federation League Birdbrains Division with a record of 47-26.

The Archies relied on left fielder Dan Sims for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Sims said, postgame.
