The Long Beach Paradise have eliminated the Long Island Ducks and are off to the Round 3.

Long Beach won the final game by a 9-6 score and thus clinched the series 4-2.

"We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Ivan Duran, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Duran hit .520 with a .586 on-base percentage. He drove in 3 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Long Beach Paradise will play against the Rhome Rhavioli in the next round. Rhome won their series against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
