Blueberry Bulldogs Handle Detroit, Snag 7-5 Win
The 7-5 Sudbury win over Detroit was due largely to Jacob Jeffries. The Blueberry Bulldogs center fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Eric Barone notched his 9th save in 12 chances. The Blueberry Bulldogs raised their record to 32-40.

Joe Seelye, who is tied for 3rd in the FL in stolen bases with 16, had a timely hit in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out and the bases loaded, the Sudbury second baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Blueberry Bulldogs in front, 6-5.

"It never gets old," said Jeffries. "Winning, that is."
