The Rhome Rhavioli "bent but didn't break" against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades in the Round 2.

That's according to Ken Bruce of Rhome, who was named series MVP.

"Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said.


Rhome won the final game by a 11-4 count and the series 4-1.

Bruce's MVP performance included hitting .385 with a .484 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Rhome Rhavioli don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Long Beach Paradise - Long Island Ducks series. Long Beach leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
