Albany Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game
When the entire season comes down to one game, Dan Donaldson said you find out what a team is really about.

As it turns out, the Albany Polecats are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Concord Blue Devils 6-2 tonight at Bruins Ballpark in order to win the Round 1 and book a place in the next round.

"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Donaldson, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."

Donaldson hit .286 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Albany Polecats will play against the Arlington Trappers in the next round. Arlington won their series against the Great Lakes Loons 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
