Tacoma Takes Division Series
The Tacoma Oilmen outclassed the Medford Axemen in all facets of the game throughout the SL2 Division Series.

The end result was a Tacoma series sweep to advance to the League Championship Series, capped off by a 7-3 win in the final game.

"We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said center fielder Jose Trevino, who hit .429 in the series.

Trevino's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .467 on-base percentage and had 4 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Tacoma Oilmen will play against the Calgary Winter in the next round. Calgary won their series against the Jefferson J-Hawks 3 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
