Wet weather did not postpone the Osaka-Waikiki ballgame.

The inspired effort of Waikiki first baseman Carlos Jimenez was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-7, to the Osaka Takoyaki. Jimenez went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Getting the save was Daniel Forsyth, his 13th.

Juan Redondo, the first overall pick in the 2046 draft, aided the Osaka cause with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Redondo. "But it's all business when we're on the field."

Osaka is now 30-41. Waikiki is 25-45.
