Blueberry Bulldogs Slap 2-0 Loss on Red Storm
|
Sudbury pitcher Danny Dudley had a large part in his team subduing the Lansing Red Storm, 2-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Eric Barone closed out the game, earning his 13th save. The win gives Sudbury a season record of 36-35.
Josh Deere, who is tied for 8th in the FL in total bases with 127, took Lansing hurler Jon Flint deep in the top of the second. His 2-run home run put the Blueberry Bulldogs on top, 2-0. In all, Deere had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"We didn't score," said losing manager GM TDen. "That was the problem."
