The Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Portland Beavers, 9-3, at Beavers Park. Hanoi was led by 28-year old first baseman Danny Kelley, who went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Picking up the save was 33-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Arteaga. The victory gives the Dragon Warriors a record of 37-33.

In the top of the second, Hanoi shortstop Jonathan Campos had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Portland hurler Paolo Ferrari, Campos hit a sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Hanoi. For the day, Campos drove in one run.
