Great Day for Donaldson -- 5 Hits
|
All game long, Phoenix's Dan Donaldson was rattling the walls at Phoenix Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Reno Copper Kings. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Palisades had a win, 6-5.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Dan Donaldson grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This year, Donaldson is hitting .257 with 14 home runs and 52 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .344 clip and scored 79 runs.
