The Havana Sugar Kings downed the Portland Beavers, 8-6. The hitting star was center fielder Pavlov Pantofel. Pantofel went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Sugar Kings. The third-place Sugar Kings now have a win-loss record of 38-29.

Cesar Lopez contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fourth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. His at-bat helped Havana get the win.
