Sam Clark was instrumental in his team's 8-5 triumph over the Dublin Porters. The left fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Osaka Takoyaki. Osaka pitcher Jonathan Fyke earned the win, hiking his record to 3-1. Greg Sebera suffered the loss. By defeating Dublin, the third-place Takoyaki improved to 28-40.
With Osaka leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Clark batted against Dublin pitcher Greg Sebera. Clark hit a slider to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Takoyaki on top, 6-0.
"I felt good up there," said Clark. "I saw the ball well."
