Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Ed Putty, who is tied for 9th in the AL with a .374 on-base percentage, the Brooklyn Knights defeated the Buffalo Buffalo, 5-1. Jaiden Randle, credited with the save, is now 2 for 3 in save opportunities.

Brooklyn grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Putty hit a 3-run home run off Tim Ocampo. His 12th home run of the season put the Knights out in front, 4-1.
