Cuenca Slugs Blueberry Bulldogs to 8-3 Win
The game between Sudbury and Dublin is in the books, despite a little rain.

The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs topped the Dublin Porters, 8-3, with right fielder Orlando Cuenca playing a big role. Cuenca slugged 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Blueberry Bulldogs in the win. Rourke Ireland picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 10 in 9 innings.

Cuenca contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Sudbury in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-0, Cuenca took a slider from Jim Steeb and stroked the home run to right. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Blueberry Bulldogs to leap in front, 4-2.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Cuenca told the Sudbury Daily News.

The Blueberry Bulldogs improved their record to 30-37 by beating Dublin.
