Danny White was a major factor in the 7-5 Brooklyn win over Portland. The Knights shortstop belted 2 home runs. Brooklyn reliever Zion Anthony was the winner. His record is now 5-4. The losing pitcher was Ray Barber. By defeating Portland, the last-place Knights improved to 30-36.

Brooklyn took the lead, 6-5, on Danny Ortiz's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Portland pitcher Ray Barber in the top of the ninth.
