The Brooklyn Knights beat the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 11-4, at Brooklyn Coliseum. Brooklyn right fielder Daniel Lucio had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Brooklyn is now 42-25, while Yellowstone is 37-28.

John Espinosa had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the second inning. With Brooklyn trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from Justin Kowalick, who finished 2nd in the AL in ERA with 3.07 in 2047, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 3-2.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Lucio, "one at-bat at a time."
