Brooklyn Hopeless Against Frick
|
The Brooklyn Knights manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the San Antonio Aztecs. The Knights were overpowered by San Antonio starter Jack Frick, who hurled his club to victory, 3-0.
"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Enoch Tang said.
Over 9 innings, Frick blanked Brooklyn on 2 hits with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Frick said.
"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."
So far this season, Frick has compiled a 3-8 record with a 3.82 ERA.
