The Dublin Porters knocked off the Waikiki Wayfinders, 10-5, in Federation League action at Porters Ballpark. Dublin pitcher and Aurora, Colorado, native Adam D'Amonte had an outstanding performance. In 6.2 innings, D'Amonte surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed 5 runs. The second-place Porters now sit at 37-28.

Kasey Stephens had a big 2-run home run for the Porters in the bottom of the first inning. With Dublin trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a splitter from 30-year old left-handed pitcher Richard Arocha and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Porters on top, 2-1.

"It was a solid team effort," said D'Amonte after the game.
