Archies Lose to Wayfinders in Walk-Off
|
The St. Louis Archies got a sterling performance from pitcher Shuhei Ouchi, but the Waikiki Wayfinders still prevailed, 5-3. Ouchi threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Ruben Burgos notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The Wayfinders raised their record to 24-42.
Waikiki got a clutch hit from Tyler Farrell. The center fielder socked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
"This house was rockin'," Farrell said.
