Red Storm Lose as Chicks Stage Late Rally
The Memphis Chicks racked up a win at Russwood Park, bumping off the Lansing Red Storm, 4-3. Dan Elliott, who started for Memphis, pitched effectively for his team. Matt Schille was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-3. The losing pitcher was Sergio Bahena. The Chicks improved their record to 29-34 with the win over Lansing.

Jeremy Myers contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat helped Memphis get the win.

Myers called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
