Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Hanoi Dragon Warriors and Buffalo Buffalo.

The Hanoi Dragon Warriors and starting pitcher Jon Gilson stifled the Buffalo offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at The Greenhouse. Gilson yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-1.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Danny Laines? The Hanoi right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Dragon Warriors on top, 3-0. For the game, Laines had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Gilson after the game.

The win lifted the Hanoi record to 33-31.
