Buffalo Rallies to 4-2 Win
|
Buffalo Buffalo starter Danny Staley was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Los Angeles Kings, 4-2. Buffalo reliever Danny Rutledge picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Jim Davis took the loss. Buffalo is now 29-35, Los Angeles 31-32.
Buffalo went in front, 4-2, on Bobby Rigling's 17th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Rigling hit in the top of the ninth, left Los Angeles pitcher Jim Davis visibly perturbed.
Los Angeles manager Jim KP said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
