Pizzas Trip Super Volcano, 6-5, in Extra Innings
Fans who congregated at Pizzas Ballpark were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Detroit Pizzas did just enough to sneak past the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 6-5, at Pizzas Ballpark. Detroit first baseman Rourke Hamburg, in particular, had a standout performance. George Liston snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-4 on the season. Chris Wilson suffered the loss.

Detroit got a clutch hit from Byron Brymer. The catcher launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Pizzas manager Evan Compton.

The win gives Detroit a season record of 39-25.
