The Buffalo Buffalo stymied the Los Angeles Kings, 5-2, at Sportsman's Park. Rey Pina had a good day at the plate. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Buffalo. Buffalo starter Tim Ocampo was credited with the win after throwing 111 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 5-3. The Buffalo improved their record to 28-35 by beating Los Angeles.
Helping the Buffalo cause was Bobby Rigling. In the top of the fourth, the 34-year old second baseman had a run-scoring walk to make the score 4-1, Buffalo.
Rigling told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
