The Waikiki Wayfinders downed the Arizona Desert Storm, 4-2. The hitting star was right fielder Paul Borns. Borns was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Wayfinders. The win went to Geoff Seitz in relief, making him now 2-2. Esteban Vega took the loss for Arizona. Tim Pettit recorded the save for Waikiki, his 12th of the season.

Borns had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Esteban Vega, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Wayfinders a 3-2 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Borns.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Borns told the Waikiki Daily.
