Takoyaki Walk It Off for 39th Win of Season
The Osaka Takoyaki locked up a win at Takoyaki Park, knocking off the East Haddam Hyenas, 7-6. On the mound for Osaka was right-hander Justin Donahue. He played a major role in the triumph. Osaka reliever Daniel Forsyth picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Josh Bales absorbed the loss. The win puts the Takoyaki at 39-23, while the Hyenas drop to 27-35.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Osaka. That's when slugging first baseman Jim Boucher hit a solo home run off Josh Bales to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Donahue.
