The Buffalo Buffalo topped the Havana Sugar Kings, 4-3, in 10 innings at The Greenhouse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo designated hitter Sam Gleghorn. Buffalo reliever Noah Powell got the win, raising his record to 5-2. Jorge Figueroa was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts Buffalo's record to 31-31.
The Buffalo got a clutch hit from shortstop John Huizar. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Buffalo.
"Bottom line," said Havana skipper The Baron, "we didn't play well enough to win."
