The Buffalo Buffalo defeated the Kyiv Cossacks, 8-6. Left Fielder Sam Gleghorn deserved a large share of the credit. Gleghorn threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the Buffalo. In 6.1 innings, Gleghorn surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. He allowed 3 runs. By defeating Kyiv, the second-place Buffalo improved to 33-29.
