Super Volcano Win, 4-2, Versus Waikiki
|
The Yellowstone Super Volcano had to overcome a fine effort from Waikiki pitcher Richard Arocha to win, 4-2, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Honolulu. Arocha went 7 innings and allowed no runs. The Super Volcano, now 5-1, have stormed out of the gates.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Ryan Chiasson? The 24-year old third baseman Chiasson stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put Yellowstone up, 4-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"Big win," said Chiasson.
