The Hanoi Dragon Warriors beat the San Antonio Aztecs by a score of 9-6. Hanoi center fielder Scot Shearing deserved the lion's share of the credit. Shearing went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dragon Warriors. Noah Powell closed out the game, earning his 37th save. With the win, the Dragon Warriors sit at 88-74.

Danny Kelley had a big 2-run triple for the Dragon Warriors in the top of the third inning. With Hanoi leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Tony Sanchez and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragon Warriors ahead, 3-0.
