Beavers Take Down Buffalo, 5-3
The Portland Beavers faced a tough opponent in Buffalo pitcher Jimmy Miller, but found a way to pull out the victory at The Greenhouse by a final score of 5-3 in 15 innings. Miller went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. Portland pitcher Miguel Romero got the win. He's now 4-3. Dan Bowen was tagged with the loss. The second-place Buffalo have dropped 4 straight games.

Portland took advantage of an error in the top of the 15th inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Danny Gutierrez hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Beavers in front, 5-3.
